# Security

> Review Jina's isolated execution, data perimeter, credential, deployment, and audit controls.

# Security

Jina is designed for teams whose product is the business. Its review model uses isolated execution, least-privilege access, and auditable actions.

## Hermetic execution

Every probe runs inside an ephemeral, isolated sandbox. Code, traffic, and traces are scoped to the review and torn down when execution completes.

## Your data, your perimeter

Application data remains within your infrastructure. Bring-your-own-cloud and private VPC deployments are supported for teams that need Jina to operate entirely inside their own perimeter.

## Least privilege

Jina uses scoped, revocable credentials and only accesses surfaces your team explicitly grants. It does not require access to execute probes in production; active probes run against staging or preview deployments.

## Auditability

Jina's actions are auditable end to end, providing a record of what it inspected and executed during a review. The product is being built to meet SOC 2 control expectations and the requirements commonly requested by regulated teams.

For deployment-specific security requirements, discuss your environment and access model during onboarding.
